FURTWÄNGLER'S WARTIME BEETHOVEN
CD-824(2)
These are the celebrated World War II performances recorded on tape
by the German Radio, and first issued in the 1980s on Melodia LPs in Russia.
For the present edition, sound wizard Lowell Cross went back to the original
source materials and carefully reprocessed them with the help of the EMT-428
dynamic noise filtering process and the Sony SDP-1000 digital EQ system,
for true high fidelity sound.
